Nirupama Kulkarni

I am Professor (formerly Additional Director–Research) at CAFRAL, a research institution promoted by the Reserve Bank of India. My work combines academic research and policy analysis to study how financial institutions, regulation, and market design shape credit allocation, financial stability, and economic opportunity, with a particular focus on banking, digital finance, and housing markets in India.
